The Alexapure Home reduces up to 99.9999% of over 200 contaminants, with a filtration capacity of up to 1,000 gallons. To meet P231 certification, the unit filters down to a nominal 0.5 microns. This provides a physical filtration of cysts (giardia and cryptosporidium). We recommend replacing both filters in your Home system every 3 months for optimal filtration.
